Easterseals Massachusetts (ESMA) announces the appointment of four new board members to its statewide board of directors.
Brian Franz, of Boston, Mass., is a leader in global digital and technology services. He is currently Executive Vice President, Global Chief Information Officer, and Head of Enterprise Resiliency at State Street Corporation. He is passionate about volunteering for organizations that help the disability community. Franz earned a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Iona University.
Gloria Guerrera, of Hingham, Mass., is the founder of G2 HR Consulting. She brings more than two decades of experience with specialty retail and multi-channel corporations, providing strategic human resources and organizational development expertise. She previously served as VP, Head of Human Resources for Chico’s FAS, Inc., as well as Vice President, Human Resources for Eileen Fisher Inc., and Kenneth Cole Productions Inc., where she led the HR functions. An industry leader for decades, Guerrera has supported dozens of nonprofit organizations throughout her career, and prior to being appointed to the ESMA State Board, she was an ESMA Boston Regional Board Member.
Lisa Stapleton, of Boxford, Mass., is a proven leader who can drive business and mission outcomes across many functions, including marketing, sales, and customer success. Stapleton has long tenured with Microsoft, where she is currently Enterprise Sales Leader, Americas, and Tech for Social Impact, Microsoft Philanthropies. She earned a Master of Public and Private Administration (MBA and MPA) at Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.
Erik Tobias, of Charlestown, Mass., is a licensed realtor for Campion and Company Fine Homes Real Estate in Boston. Tobias, a proud quadriplegic and real estate professional, seeks to help people of all abilities find a place they call home. Based on his own experience of finding accessible homes, he wants to help create and make this niche more accessible. Tobias has participated, volunteered, and has been part of the AccesSportAmerica community for more than five years. He is also a member of The ‘Quin House in Boston, Level Up Mastermind, and participates in several charitable organizations. He studied at Washington University in St. Louis and Boston University.
The board members of ESMA are dedicated advocates and representatives of the organization's mission to provide services to individuals with disabilities, both children and adults. They actively participate in committees and task forces related to governance, finance, investment, fundraising, programs, and technology, working diligently to ensure everyone has the same opportunities to live, learn, work, and play.
