Current Scholarship Opportunities at The Bridge Center

Peabody Foundation Equestrian Scholarship Program

Thanks to support from the Peabody Foundation, The Bridge Center is currently offering six full-year scholarships for eligible riders participating in equestrian programming. Scholarships cover participation from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027.

Key Details

  • Program period is September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with rolling acceptance until all scholarships are fulfilled
  • Scholarships apply to scheduled program sessions only
  • Missed or cancelled sessions are not eligible for make-up
  • A total of six riders will be selected

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be 18 years old or younger at the time of award
  • Be a person with a disability or medical diagnosis that impacts physical mobility
  • Have medical clearance for equestrian programming and be ready to follow The Bridge Center Code of Conduct

Timeline

  • Applications will open on August 1, 2026
  • Awards will start being shared the week of August 25 and be ongoing from that date until all scholarships are awarded
  • Applications will remain open until all scholarships are awarded
