Easterseals Massachusetts & DDS Self-Directed Services for Therapeutic Care

Easterseals Massachusetts partners with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to deliver personalized Therapeutic Services through the Self-Directed Services program. From Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to innovative approaches like hippotherapy, we help individuals and families design flexible, goal-driven plans that fit their unique needs.

Easterseals Massachusetts is proud to partner with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services to provide Therapeutic Services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Pathology, which may include the use of hippotherapy, to clients through the DDS Self-Directed Services program. Services are provided at The Bridge Center in Bridgewater. This DDS program helps individuals gain more control over their lives and make decisions about services based on their vision, path, preferences, beliefs, and abilities. Self-Directed Service gives individuals and families control and flexibility in choosing the services and providers that best support their goals and needs. With Self-Directed Services, you can build a personalized plan and directly allocate your DDS budget to services that matter most to you.

Participant Eligibility Requirements:

  • The individual must be a DDS Self-Directed client.
  • All MassHealth benefits for the requested therapy services must be exhausted.
  • The individual must first confirm eligibility with the DDS Service Coordinator or Support Broker.
