Drums Alive®: Move, Groove, and Have Fun!

Move, groove, and drum to the beat! Drums Alive® combines rhythmic drumming with full-body movement to improve coordination, strength, balance, and confidence. Suitable for kids, teens, and adults of all abilities, no experience needed!

Drums Alive® is a fun, adaptive, and energising program that combines rhythmic drumming with movement, designed for people of all abilities and led by a licensed Physical Therapist. Whether you are 7 or 70, this program helps improve coordination, balance, strength, and confidence, all while having a great time!

Reasons to Participate in Drums Alive®:

  • Supportive for all abilities: Every session is adaptable, so anyone can participate safely and comfortably.
  • Full-body movement: Move your arms, legs, and core to the beat.
  • Boosts mood & focus: Rhythmic drumming helps reduce stress and increase mental clarity.
  • Social & supportive: Connect with others, make friends, and enjoy the energy of group movement.

Who Can Join:

  • Kids (7–12): Fun, engaging, and focused on self-expression, teamwork, and coordination.
  • Teens (13–18): High-energy sessions to build strength, confidence, and rhythm skills.
  • Adults (18+): Supportive, low- to moderate-impact workouts that strengthen the body, improve balance, and lift the spirits.

No experience is required. Just bring your energy, your smile, and your love of rhythm!

Cost: 

  • $35 per session plus Eventbrite fees

  • Adults: Wednesday, January 7, 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
  • Kids (Ages 7 - 12): Monday, January 12, 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
  • Teens (Ages 13 - 18): Monday, January 19, 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
  • Kids (Ages 7 - 12): Monday, February 2, 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
  • Teens (Ages 13 - 18): Monday, February 9, 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
  • Adults: Wednesday, January 11, 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
