Monthly Veterans Horsemanship & Riding Classes

Through mindful mounted and unmounted activities with horses, participants can improve their ability to adapt, communicate, initiate, self-regulate, and trust.

Starting February 15, 2026! Third Sunday of Each Month, 12:00–12:15 p.m. Introductions & Coffee, 12:15-1:45 p.m. Horsemanship & Riding, 1:45-2:00 p.m. Snacks & Debriefing

The horses in the program are valuable motivators and partners. They live in the present and accept individuals exactly as they are. In turn, they appreciate kindness, patience, and flexibility.

    Enjoy lots of 1:1 animal time alongside our staff: Collaborate with your peers to design and ride your own obstacle course, create a riding pattern to a song of your choice, and train an animal to learn a new skill!
