Pony Playgroups: Ages 5 - 10 in November

Pony Playgroup is the perfect opportunity for children to socialize and develop new skills, while you connect with other parents and caregivers.

Let your elementary-aged child explore the world of horses and farm life through fun activities, songs, and lots of animal encounters. Outside time at the barn can build confidence and often encourages better nighttime sleep. Designed and implemented by a licensed teacher and riding instructor, this session has lots of activities to engage all children, with accommodations and supports implemented as needed. Adults attend the playgroup with their child.

Sample Agenda:
  • Welcome: Red Light, Green Light in the arena; Recall and reinforcement with verbal/visual cues.
  • Warm-up: Goats Shenanigans - cuddle and walk the goats; Collaboration and sharing with peers.
  • Grooming: Learn to properly groom and care for your horse or pony; Fine motor skills and sequencing.
  • Leading: Lead your horse or pony with a friend; Building transferable skills.
  • Riding: 1:1 time with your horse and instructor in the arena; Gross motor skills.
  • Crafts & Activities: Make up lunch/dinner hay and grain, and create a farm-themed craft; Sensory activity.

    Enjoy lots of 1:1 animal time alongside our staff: Collaborate with your peers to design and ride your own obstacle course, create a riding pattern to a song of your choice, and train an animal to learn a new skill!

    Join us during the April 2026 vacation week for a fun and enriching Welcome Spring! Nature Explorer & Gardening Camp! Campers can sign up for all 4 days or choose the individual days that work best for your schedule.
    April 21-24, 2026
    Full-day: 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
    Half-day: 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

    The Good Batch: Ages 18+

    Whip up something sweet each week while learning to follow step-by-step baking recipes. Participants will try out new treats, from cookies to cakes, and create a personalized recipe book to take home at the end of the session.

    Drums Alive®: Move, Groove, and Have Fun!

    Move, groove, and drum to the beat! Drums Alive® combines rhythmic drumming with full-body movement to improve coordination, strength, balance, and confidence. Suitable for kids, teens, and adults of all abilities, no experience needed!
