Welcome Spring! Nature Explorer & Gardening Camp Ages 4-18: April 21-24, 2026

At a Glance

This welcoming spring camp welcomes people of all abilities and is thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of ages, strengths, and support needs. Campers engage in hands-on nature exploration, creative projects, movement-based activities, and outdoor play in an environment that values access, choice, and participation. Activities are adaptable and offer multiple ways to engage, allowing each camper to take part in ways that feel meaningful and empowering. 

Our wonderful team of Licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists leads all activities for a fun and enriching Nature Explorer & Gardening Camp! Campers can sign up for all 4 days or choose the individual days that work best for their schedule. Campers may choose to attend all or just a few of the camp days, with the option to pair the afternoon session with Equine Enrichment Camp in the morning (8:30–11:30 AM), followed by lunch (brought from home) from 11:30–12:00 before jumping into Springtime fun!

Cost

• $125 per day per child

Daily Activities will Include:

Tuesday: Springtime Surprise!

• Embrace the season as the world around us awakens! Children and teens will explore the colors, textures, and rhythms of spring through playful adventures outdoors. They might dig in the dirt to plant seeds, hunt for signs of new growth in the garden, or move through games inspired by leaves, flowers, and budding plants. Activities invite interaction with natural materials, opportunities to notice new growth, and movement inspired by spring. Experiences are designed so participants can explore independently, alongside peers, or with support, based on individual preferences.

Wednesday: Grow & Glow!

• Celebrate the amazing transformations that happen in nature during spring! Campers will discover how plants grow, how insects move, and how birds change as the season unfolds. Through hands-on activities, games, and gentle outdoor exploration, children and teens can investigate the life cycles of springtime creatures, work together on challenges, and explore textures and materials from the garden or natural world around them.

Thursday: Rain, Shine & Play!

• Campers explore spring weather through movement, sensory-friendly experiences, and creative expression. Activities inspired by rain, wind, and sunshine allow for flexible participation, offering options for active play, calm exploration, or creative projects that reflect each camper’s interests and comfort level.

Friday: Adventure Awaits!

• End the week with a day of discovery and teamwork! Campers will explore the outdoors through scavenger hunts, challenge games, and nature-themed adventures. They might examine natural materials, move creatively through the environment, and work together to complete outdoor activities. The focus is on curiosity, connection, and fun, giving campers the chance to engage with nature, friends, and themselves in a supportive setting.
