This Giving Day celebrates Easterseals Massachusetts' recreational programs, designed to bring people together and foster a sense of connection and belonging for people of all ages. These programs include:

  • Recreation at The Bridge Center: Participants enjoy hands‑on culinary experiences through our recreational cooking classes, including The Good Batch, Culinary Creations, and Farm to Table. 
  • Easterseals Massachusetts Equestrian Center: Hands‑on experiences build confidence, encourage independence, and foster meaningful connections between participants and animals. 
  • Accessible Martial Arts: ESMA staff hold in-person and virtual classes for people with and without disabilities to learn and practice self-defense, stretching, exercise, and relaxation techniques.
  • Adaptive Swim Program: Individuals with disabilities of all ages and their families enjoy fun water games and safety activities designed to build confidence and independence in the water.

With your help, we can empower individuals through recreation to build community, confidence, and life skills.

These sessions will cover key topics such as navigating public benefits, using legal tools like Special Needs Trusts, and exploring investment and insurance options. Having a clear understanding of these areas can help ensure long-term support while maintaining eligibility for essential government programs.
