Insurance and Billing at The Bridge Center
We accept select insurance plans and offer private‑pay options for Therapeutic Services. Our goal is to help families understand their coverage, verify benefits, and navigate the billing process with confidence.
Insurance Acceptance Update
- We are currently in‑network with Mass General Brigham.
- We are in the final stages of accepting insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Harvard Pilgrim.
As additional plans become active in our system, this webpage will be updated.
Coverage varies by insurance plan and by service. Our team will verify your benefits, review your options, and guide you through the next steps before your first visit.
Understanding Medical Necessity
Insurance plans require that therapy services be medically necessary in order to authorize and reimburse care. In general, medical necessity means:
- Services are provided by a licensed, qualified clinician.
- Treatment is skilled and cannot be safely or effectively completed without professional expertise.
- Care is evidence‑based and consistent with accepted clinical standards.
- Services are needed to evaluate, improve, restore, or prevent decline in functional abilities.
Medical necessity is determined through clinical evaluation, documentation, and the specific guidelines of each insurance payer.
Private Pay Options
For families who prefer to pay directly or whose insurance does not cover specific services, The Bridge Center offers private‑pay rates for all therapy services. Our team will review costs with you in advance, ensure transparency, and help you determine the best payment approach for your needs.
