Therapeutic Equine Movement: Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy is a skilled, evidence‑based treatment strategy used by licensed therapists, who purposefully use equine movement to achieve functional outcomes as part of a comprehensive plan of care. Using the movement of the horse as a therapeutic tool, hippotherapy addresses physical, sensory, communication, and functional goals in a dynamic and engaging environment. -
Therapeutic Groups
