The Bridge Center

The Bridge Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, offers innovative programs where people of all ages and abilities build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills. Through equine‑assisted activities, therapeutic services, recreation, and seasonal camps, participants engage in meaningful experiences that support growth and connection. Our dedicated staff and diverse indoor and outdoor spaces foster exploration, skill development, and a strong sense of belonging for individuals and families.

Current Offerings

    Adaptive Carriage Driving for Ages 5+

    Adaptive Carriage Driving provides an accessible, empowering way to partner with a horse from a secure seated position; ideal for individuals who cannot, or prefer not to, ride mounted. Our program follows PATH Intl.–aligned safety practices and offers individualized, goal-based instruction.

    Animal Caretakers for Ages 18+

    Meet up with peers to learn how to care for the barn animals and to maintain their enclosures. Adult Caretaker programs are currently in session.
  • Group of adults participating in a group activity on a small indoor stage, standing around large exercise balls on buckets and using foam sticks, suggesting a collaborative or therapeutic movement exercise in a community or recreational space.

    Drums Alive® for All Ages

    Move, groove, and drum to the beat! Drums Alive® combines rhythmic drumming with full-body movement to improve coordination, strength, balance, and confidence. Suitable for all abilities; no experience needed!

    Equine Enrichment Weeks

    Join us for school vacation weeks or select summer weeks to enjoy 1:1 horse time, design obstacle courses, create riding patterns to music, and even teach a horse a new skill!

    Therapy/ Hippotherapy

    PT, OT, and SLPs utilize the natural environment to help individuals achieve their goals during one-on-one sessions. Sometimes, equine movement, known as Hippotherapy, is incorporated.

    Monthly Veterans Horsemanship & Riding

    Through mindful mounted and unmounted activities with horses, participants can improve their ability to adapt, communicate, initiate, self-regulate, and trust.

    Newsletter Club for Ages 18+

    Join us at the Newsletter Club to create a weekly newsletter while building communication, literacy, and teamwork skills.

    Summer Adventure Club for Ages 5-8

    Play. Explore. Connect. Grow. Join us for an exciting 8-week summer adventure series for children, led by our therapy team. Each Friday, children step into a new world of imagination, movement, creativity, and discovery while building confidence, friendships, communication skills, and motor skills through play.

    The Good Batch: Ages 18+

    Whip up something sweet each week while learning to follow step-by-step baking recipes. Participants will try out new treats, from cookies to cakes, and create a personalized recipe book to take home at the end of the session.
